I’m so excited that my book, Giving Up God: Resurrecting a Spirituality of Love and Wonder, will be coming out this November, and I would greatly appreciate your support in spreading the news by joining my select book launch team. Since I am not a social media “influencer” nor am I famous, I could use some help in getting the word out there about my book.

I wrote Giving Up God because I felt alone and lost when my spiritual reality changed so drastically. I needed this book, and my goal is to spread the word enough so that others in a similar position can find it and feel less alone on their paths.

Launch teams help authors spur sales online with honest Amazon reviews and social media posts, and they can be a critical way to create momentum for a book in today’s digital marketplace. If you are uncomfortable sharing the book publicly on social media, pre-ordering and leaving a review once it’s published is also enormously helpful.

Here's how it works: I’ll send you an advance digital file (PDF) of the book so you can begin reading at your convenience, getting ready to write a review in advance to post once the book comes out. Then, as the on-sale date nears, I’ll send you several reminder emails:

• First, on the day the book is ready for pre-order so you can help reshare the news to your social media followers

• Second, on the day of the on-sale date so you can purchase the book (unless you’ve already pre-ordered it) and post your review (I can send you the link)

• Third, once you’ve received the print edition of the book, I’ll send a reminder to post a photo of the book on social media.
